How we ran this test

  • The exact same prompt and square 1:1 frame for every model.
  • One attempt per model, through the same app on 2026-10-20.
  • No retouching or best-of-many selection. Originals are available from each image.
  • Web previews are resized and compressed; the original file is unchanged.
  • Each model uses its normal site configuration. Some output at 1K, others at 2K; dimensions and any quality preset are shown.

Read this as a sample

This is a single avatar test, not a ranking of average model quality. Results can change between prompts and runs. No shared seed was supplied.

“This run” time includes generation, safety checks and saving the result. It is one observation, not a promised processing time or a controlled speed benchmark.

The samples are original, site-created public examples. Customer photos and private generations are not used.

Model comparison FAQ

Which AI image model is best for anime art?

There is no single best model for every prompt. Compare the face, linework, shading and framing in these avatar examples, then balance the result against the displayed credit cost. This test does not establish an overall winner.

Why does the same prompt produce different images?

Models interpret instructions differently and use different generation processes. The same words do not fix the exact composition, colors or facial details.

How many credits does each model cost?

Current costs are displayed on every card and in the generator. This test used the default site configuration for each model; any recorded test cost is retained with its sample.

Can I choose the model myself?

Yes. Select a model in the comparison or choose Use this model to open the generator with the matching prompt and square frame. This does not start a generation or spend credits.

Are these all the models you offer?

This avatar test covers the 12 image models available when it was run. We show model and version names so you can match each result to the generator.

Will I get exactly the same image?

No. Results can vary between runs. We did not set a shared seed, and identical seed values would not make different model architectures generate the same image. The published prompt and settings let you repeat the workflow, not reproduce identical pixels.
